I APPLIED FOR COLLEGE

Hey guys!! So with my boyfriend in New York and nothing left for me in my hometown, I decided it would be best for me to apply for college and get the heck out of here! I'm hoping to get accepted into Laguna College of Art + Design. Fingers crossed and wish me luck! I'm in dire need of a big adventure and I can't wait to be refined into an even better artist!

My boyfriend of 3 years is moving to New York City for performing arts college in a week and I've been spending every waking moment with him. Due to this I haven't been drawing as often as I would like. But best believe when he's gone I'll have nothing to do but sit around and do art as a form of emotional therapy.
Heh...
Stay tuned for some sad art and feel free to help me get out of the funk I know I'll be in.

Thanks for all the compliments, Hayden ^^ "Forever" is definitely my favourite work, too, those people are super dear to me, and believe me their love is just mind-blowingly inspiring. I agree that backgrounds can be super challenging especially when all you want to do is paint faces 
You know what I mean! You seem to be yourself very passionate about drawing people over backgrounds but where you have added one it does make a difference. I wish you best of luck in college, you will become sooooo much better than me when you reach my age. I'm sure of it!
